This is not the first sink pump we've bought, but it's the first one I've gotten through this program and I wouldn't recommend it. This looks like plastic coated with some silvery paint. It feels cheap when you pump it and although it functions and pumps fine, I don't think it's worth it when there are better looking options out there. If you already have a hole for a dispenser or a sprayer, this will likely fit and make for an easy installation, but I'd keep looking for other brands off Amazon as this ones design is very cheaply made. The tubing works with our other dispenser though so that's why I'm giving it 2 stars.

I was able to install this myself, it wasn't easy because I didn't have anyone available to help me. I tried a few tricks to hold the pump to the sink deck so that I could screw the plastic nut on from under the sink.I taped the base down with painter's masking tape first to protect the finish, then used packing tape to secure the base to my sink deck so that it wouldn't spin as I screwed the plastic bolt from below.I was determined to install it somehow but if you have someone to hold it in place the job will be a cinch for you!It's very lightweight compared to the one that came with my faucet so hopefully it will last. The price is great!I'm happy to have this one because I would always overflow the old one that just had a smallish bottle to refill. These are genius!

The build quality is average, with the entire thing consisting mostly of plastic. The fit was spot on for the standard opening. Mounting, the lock ring threaded smoothly and got tight without jumping threads. The bottle is flimsy, doesn’t thread well, and will pop threads if trying to snug it up. This is a shame because I prefer to fill the bottles over-top filling to avoid overfilling. Once primed, it pumps well and dispenses a good quantity of soap. But, it also comes with a little collapsible funnel so you don’t need to worry about the flimsy bottle. It looks pretty good with stainless steel for not being stainless steel itself. As long as you don’t expect high-end build quality, you won’t be disappointed. It functions very well, and at the end of the day, you won’t find any better in this price range.

Built-in soap dispensers are so handy but tend to wear out way too quickly. In most cases, it was the top part that wears out every few years. For those reasons, I'm particular about how easily they install, and how the top (pump) is expected to last.This is my first one with a hose to insert into a full bottle of soap, down in the bottom of the cabinet. Great idea, works well. Eliminates the risk to spill when refilling.Disappointing are the facts that (a) the pump itself appears flimsy. So flimsy, in fact, I've swapped it to an auxiliary sink we use only seldomly. And (b) that installation is unnecessarily more difficult because the various brands never seem to be compatible. There was nothing wrong with my old mount, so if the new pump would have fit, I could have avoided emptying the cabinet and enduring the backbraking task of threading those long nylon parts. Wish they'd just pick a standard size for the hole and the threads below. And yes, add those specifications to the product description. Thank you.

I LOVE having my dish soap right there at the edge of the sink and not in a messy dispenser that you have to refill all the time. And those other type that have a bottle that screws in under the sink are such a pain to take on and off to fill! This is much better than either of those. My husband installed it on our sink in seconds and the long tube sits nicely in the bottle under the counter. It is easy to tell when the soap is getting low and to swap out a new bottle. The briahed nickel matches our sink well. Highly recommended!

This product does not work. After taking the time to install it I spent 30 minutes trying to get the pump to pull soap through the line with no luck. Many of the reviews were negative but I assumed user error. Save your money and try another option
