I'm happy with this replacement soap dispenser. It took maybe 10 minutes to install and didn't require tools. The instructions weren't 100% clear with respect to where the washers went, so I had to wing it a bit, but overall it was do-able for an unskilled do-it-yourselfer. Definitely doesn't require a plumber. It doesn't come with a soap receptacle, it comes with a silicone cap with a hole and a tube that feeds through that hole, and you provide your own receptacle. I had no problem finding a random plastic bottle that did the job. Repurposing for the win!I'm on the fence about the sponge holder thing. It is plastic and has a finish slightly different from the dispenser. For now I have it on but may eventually remove it. First world dilemma for sure. Will this soap dispenser last forever and become a family heirloom because of the fine craftsmanship and quality materials? I'm guessing not. But for now it does the job and I'm happy with it.

What a great idea. So simple and so easy to switch out. This is a great soap dispenser. As one person mentioned it is about an inch higher than most which make using this so much easier. And no more filling that little soap bottle!! Am sharing this with everyone!

I was looking for a new soap dispenser at my kitchen sink and came across this one that was brushed nickel and came with an attachable soap/sponge dish. Thinking that one can never have too many storage options that got things up and off the counters, and brushed nickel matched my kitchen faucet, I placed my order.First off, as soon as I opened the box I thought I got sent the wrong item. The soap dish was on top and was a cheap, shiny chrome color, and after picking it up I realized it was also made out of cheap plastic. I would've actually been fine with it being plastic, since then it for sure wouldn't rust, the shiny chrome was kind of a deal breaker, especially since the soap dispenser was actually brushed nickel color so the two did not match. I would expect this level of low quality to have a price tag of around $10, not over $20.The dispenser itself is fine, nothing special in appearance, but the extra long straw did come in handy with allowing the soap container under the sink to sit on the ground instead of suspended in the air.The dispenser works ok too, takes a bit of pumping to get the first bit of soup to come up, but once it does it seems to transport the soap well enough.Installation was easy and the instructions provided are easy to follow. The hardest part for me is always finding the path of least resistance while underneath my sink, but since this was just a matter of screwing on a nut it wasn't too bad.Overall, I deducted 2 stars because while the dispenser works like every other dispenser, the only thing really setting it apart from all the others was the taller profile and the attaching soap dish, but since it didn't match the dispenser I consider that a pretty big fail. Based on the product I received and the price at the time of this review ($22.99), I would not purchase again and would not recommend. Unless you love the look of cheap chrome that is....

So I got this because I got a faucet with both the normal water and also the filter water spouts all in one and I had a hole in my counter left after removing the filtered water spigot. Well this needed a little bit bigger hole so one more thing on my honey do list. No problem, drilled out the hole and sunk this like a dream. A very easy install and functions like a rockstar. Now the little plastic soap dish that comes with it look nice but come on it make your sink look trashy in my opinion so I am not using it. That’s ok because it doesn’t affect any of the operation and I think it actually looks better without it. I have had it in for a couple of days so far and no bleed back which was a big concern. I love that it has a universal cap that will plug directly into the larger store bottles so nothing extra under the sink. I am really happy with this and cannot find one bad thing to say.
