These definitely work as intended. You can wipe down wood surfaces and it picks up fine sawdust the is has worked down in the grain and crevices. You will be surprised by what this picks up. These will pick up sawdust that even vacuuming fails to remove. The cloths aren't so sticky where it's difficult to wipe across the wood. These really make a difference and I wish I would have started using them sooner!

The Tack Cloth, 6-Pc set has been a useful addition to my woodworking projects. I use them for final dust removal before sealing, and they do an excellent job of picking up fine particles left after sanding. The large size makes them easy to fold and use multiple times, and they leave the surface completely clean without any residue. Being wax and silicone-free, they don’t interfere with finishes, ensuring a smooth and professional result. If you need an effective, anti-static cloth for woodworking prep, these are a reliable choice. I recommend them for dust-free finishes.

This is some excellent tack cloth. It comes individually wrapped and each one starts out as a small square you can unfold and use to pick up any kind of dirt, dust, sawdust, debris, or anything else that might be stuck on the surface of whatever you're wiping. Being made of cotton that's a bit thicker than many other tack cloths, they hold up well even when you're wiping down somewhat rough surfaces. They're compact but easy to unfold and use on large surfaces, and they work great! The rags are 36" by 18" when fully unfolded, the '20x16' in the description refers to the amount of fibers per square inch of cloth. That's the closest thing to a complaint that I haveI'm not sure what the sticky substance they're using on these is. It's not wax or silicone -based, which is nice because it's so far not interfered with any of the finishes I use on my finished pieces. However, it would be nice to know what it is, but as it's not stated anywhere I can find, it's currently a mystery. Regardless, it doesn't get stuck to surfaces any more than you'd want it to, and seems to have a good binding to the cloth, which is appreciated since it doesn't muck up the surface of a finished piece. The packages these come in are all fully sealed separately, and they're even resealable like plastic storage bags are. This is nice because it keeps them fresh and clean, new and ready to use whenever you open them. The sticky substance on them doesn't seem to dry out but I imagine if you left the bag open it might, however these should last a ridiculously long time in storage. You could even fold up a cloth and put it back if you really feel like reusing it later.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Over the last 20+ years I’ve used various tack clothes when painting 2 stage paints via HVLP or 2k rattle can applications because they require more finesse. This stands out for 2 reasons, heft and useful packaging. The weave used in these clothes is much tighter and heavier. To me this seems better suited to more coarse surfaces or less sensitive use cases. I actually tested these while finishing up a technical dry wall repair (it did great). I’m not sure how these would fare in auto…I suspect we’ll. Secondly, the zip close packaging is very helpful. Most tack cloths come in one time use. I generally seek out zip locks to extend their life because the air dries them out quickly. In short, these seem pretty darn good. The tack level works well even though the surface is less sticky than most. A thumbs up imo.

I do a bit of woodworking and want my projects to turn out as professional as possible and the only way to do that is to get the finish/clear coat as flawless as possible. these tack cloths help get rid of those pesky dust particles without adding fuzz to the surface. anyone who does woodworking HAS to have these around at all times

These tack cloths work amazingly well at removing wood dust which is something that tends to build up in my shop. This is however, also the shop where I do staining and varnishing so it’s imperative that I get all the wood dust off before a coat of varnish and in between new coats. These tack cloths work perfect for that.
