Despite some negative reviews, I took a chance. It’s lovely, well sewn and works perfectly. Note the tape automatically “holds” when pulled out. There is a hidden button under the leather that retracts the tape when pushed. I think another reviewer didn’t realize this.

I love this leather covered tape measure. It's like one of those cheaper tape measures, but with a better cover and will help blend in if you do Ren Faires or cosplays, or just to have for fun usage. Pinch it gently in the center to retract the tape. Inches are on one side, and centimeters are on the other side. Nice little find to have!

This is super cute. It's great for when you're out and you need to make a quick measurement. Also when you're ordering online and need to check if something's going to be the right size. It's wonderful! Great customer service as well :)

Upgraded from a basic plastic to this Forieru leather tape measure and it's a solid win. It’s got a quality feel, rolls back smoothly, and the vintage vibe suggests it’ll last through generations. Makes measuring less of a chore and more of a charm.
