The leash itself broke in the first few days so we has to replace it but the waist piece itself in very functional and easy to wear. The reflective material is great for walking later into the evening.

Used this a maximum of 8 times and the metal buckle attached to my dog's collar broke and then I had to chase after her.

Bought this to use when jogging with my dog. The leash length is adjustable if they are needed. I appreciate that the water pouch is removable, but I tend to use it most of the time to carry my own as well as my dog's water; Most importantly, the bungee helps lessen the pull if my dog suddenly takes off running.

I have been looking for a hands free set up for running with my 80lb shepherd mix and decided I should try a couple things to see if they worked before I go off the deep end and drop over $100 on a canicross set up.I decided to start in the $20 range, so here I am writing a review for something that lasted about 5 minutes then broke. The crappy little plastic piece that holds the metal D rings (which are also not great) in place slipped up around them so they are no longer held in place and the sliding loosens the belt... and it happened on both sides. So by then what's even the point of the thing? Finished the run with the leash while carrying the belt.And it's not like we're out here going hard or anything, think like 2 steps above fast walking for about 3 miles and that's where I'm at. She also doesn't pull very hard and is pretty good at keeping a reasonable pace with me, so I can only imagine how this thing would have tanked were that not the case.Basically, I got what I paid for and this thing is being returned. I'm really only writing a review to save you the time of buying this ineffective hunk of junk.But this experience encouraged me to stop being so cheap and get a better (more expensive) hands free running set up for myself, so there's that.

I did not like this. I wanted to start walking with my dog and wanted something to keep my hands free if needed. I ordered the XL but it's made for someone MUCH smaller and completely unusable for me. My mother, who wears a size 8 in jeans couldn't get it to clip around her waist as it was too small for her. The only person this fit around was my teenage assistant, who is so small she looks like a strong wind might blow her over. She loves it and she wears it with her dog so she can walk and text.
