Oh, hey. This is NOT a crochet kit. This is an already crocheted axiolotl. The word, "KIT" in the title is confusing. I bought this with other crochet kits to resell in my craft supple store. It's hard to sell a craft that is already done. I gave it to my daughter in law.

This is adorable. Soft to the touch, pretty color, positive statement, and just a joy to hold and look at. I have a great-granddaughter that loves axolotls, and she will enjoy this little beauty. It even has a tail that matches the ears. It makes a sweet gift, or a cute collectible for any age.

This crochet/knitted, "critically endangered" aquatic salamander is larger than most of the fruits/veggies I have been getting -- in fact, he's plump when he should be more cylindrical.I like the two-toned feathery external gills on his head.I do take issue with the lack of a dorsal crest & long tail on this axolotl -- the additional feathery-gill looking back fin/tail thing on his lower back is incorrect.Three fun facts about axolotl:1. They are "lentic," meaning they inhabit still-water lakes2. They can only be found in Mexico’s Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco3. It can regenerate its limbs, lungs & heart, jaws, spines, and even parts of its brain
