Purchase this because I was tired of the saggy diapers that come stock on fords.The finish is nice and seems complete and durable. The material is aluminum which means pliable but durable.The box upon arrival didn’t seem damaged but upon unpacking the item it appears the item had been dropped on a corner. The corner is bent out of shape and will require bending back prior to use. This will unavoidably scratch the paint and allow for oxidation/corrosion in the area.It’s easy to mount on my 2019 expedition 4x4 and cover the advertised location.I would have liked to have seen the item packaged better with foam or cardboard on the corners and possibly a protective piece the full length of the skid plate to give better rigidity during transport. While I know it’s a skid plate and purpose is to absorbs damage, it would be nice to have it absorb the damage I inflict once on the vehicle. It doesn’t make you feel great when the item is over $100 and it arrives damaged.There are no instruction and some mounting points aren’t threaded.
