They used the wrong style of wood joints so the sides back away from each other. The knobs are held in with the smallest screws I've ever seen, they popped right off when I tried to pull the drawer. I've had it 3 hours and I've had to glue it in 2 places already. The wood is rough and the drawers are only half stained. The bottom of the drawers are 1/4 inch particle board. Overall, it's a nice design but built in the cheapest possible way. I'm gonna end up having to rebuild this so it doesn't fall apart.

I’m just in awe at how well this item is made and the quality is just perfect for the way it looks and how well it’s designed for an artist like me. The draws are deep enough for artsy pencils and big enough to fit more than I thought it would!!!

I read a lot of negative reviews for this detailing the shoddy paint job and lightweight construction, but decided to get it anyway.Why?The price was a good value for the product and unlike others, I'm not using it to hold paints, brushes. pastels, etc., but rather 80-98 lb pastel paper. The fact the the drawers are only half sprayed with color does not matter to me since I don't really see the inside of the drawer.Well over 100 sheets fit in the bottom drawer and I use the top drawer for the work in progress.The top easel works for setting up sketches though you could not use it for working on a single sheet as the top is too short to support a full page. Since I work flat on a table that does not matter, but I imagine artists who use pads of paper will find it fine as the backing cardboard and additional sheets offer all the support you might need.

The drawers only came half stained. Now most of us have to work for our money and when we spend it....well ...let's just say this is disappointing to get a product that's not even completed, and so is the slivers of wood coming off the inside of the drawers. Instead of returning it I'll fix it up myself ,but other then that it's a nice.

The description was for an adjustable surface. It has only 2 positions: flat or 70 degrees. It's not usable for my purposes, and I think the word "adjustable" in the title is unfairly misleading. Trying to return, and they want me to pay for shipping back. Do not recommend.
