I ordered this setup, and got it promptly. I wasn't ready to use it, so I set it aside and continued to work on my project. Eventually I decided that I should check it out -- and it didn't work. I initiated a return, requesting a replacement.The replacement arrived promptly, and works perfectly.

I needed a way to extend my USB devices over a long distance, and this USB extender worked perfectly. Setup was truly plug and play—no drivers or extra configuration needed. I tested it with a keyboard, mouse, and other USB 2.0 devices, and everything worked smoothly with no noticeable lag. The POC (Power Over Cable) feature is a nice bonus, eliminating the need for an extra power adapter. The build quality feels solid, and the connection remains stable over long periods of use.

These are great for extending the hardwire to our projector. The projector cable is short and too far for HDMI, this allows projection from the rear of the building at the front of the building.

This USB extender is indeed plug and play. It simply looks like a hub to any OS that supports USB and no driver or software tweaks are required.I ordered this so that I could place my Stream Deck in another room. Everything works reliably with 100 ft of Cat 6. The photos show my test setup.I like that the receiver has 4 USB ports so there's no need to use an additional hub in the event you need more than one endpoint. The receiver power supply only provides 1 A at 5 V which isn't enough to power 4 USB devices unless they are all small things like a keyboard and mouse. The device instructions say the maximum power dissipation is 3 W so that isn't even providing the full 5 W that 1 A would make possible. I didn't notice any problems with my Stream Deck, but that's approaching the receiver's power limit.Overall this is a really handy device for extending the reach of USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices.

Excellent product! The USB Extender worked flawlessly with my devices. I extended my USB connections up to 165ft without any signal loss. The 4 USB 2.0 ports are a great addition, providing convenience. JCHICI delivers on its promise of quality and performance. Highly recommended!
