This is a simple AB Switch for USB devices using a standard USB connector. Push-button on the top of the small unit works great. It also works as an auxiliary USB sharing if there's a larger master connector and there are too many USB devices attached to that. Honestly, there isn;t much more to say about it. It works and is simple. Great space savings and sharing of mice, keyboards, cameras, scanners etc

This is a simple little switch that allows two computers to share two usb devices (ie you could plug in a mouse/keyboard dongle into one port and a usb printer in another) with the press of a button. The item is made well and takes up a small footprint. The package includes two usb-a to usb-a male/male cables which is a great value-add. Most folks don't have this type of cable lying around so having them included in the box was a happy and welcome surprise. This is essentially a kvm switch without the "m" (monitor) capability. So if that's what you are looking for, this is a good product that does exactly as it states and comes with the necessary cables to make things work right out of the box.Switching between machines does take a few seconds, but nothing unreasonable, and nothing different than any other kvm switch I've used in the past. It could be a bit frustrating to wait if you were constantly flipping back and forth between the two computers multiple times in a minute, but I don't think most users would be looking for that type of use case. All in all, I would recommend this switch as a low-cost solution to sharing usb devices between two computers.

The Hotnova USB3.0 Switch allows you to connect a mouse and keyboard to two computers without having to change the wires from one computer to another. All you have to do is press one button and there you go. I have more than just a keyboard and a mouse that I need to use on both computers, so I have a port and it works just fine. I have a keyboard, a mouse, a USB speaker and a camera. I have had no issues with having that many devices going through the USB and they switch at the press of a button. There is a slight delay of about 2 seconds before the switch is activated but nothing overly burdensome. The delay is not in the switch itself, but it is in the time that it takes for the computer to recognize the USB plug. In order to let you know which computer is active there is an LED light around the button. Blue indicates port 1 and Green indicates port 2.The only thing that I wished it had was the capability to change the external monitor as well, but that would be a full-fledged docking station. Another great feature of this switch is that it includes the USB-A cables so that you do not have to provide your own. Overall, for what the switch is designed to do, it works just fine. The device is light, but does not feel cheap. I would recommend it if you have 2 computers that you need to constantly switch between and you can't beat the price.

It's so small! I was a bit surprised because I hadn't looked at the dimensions. It's about 2"x2"x.5" and very light. This is fine and means that I can stick it anywhere.I wish it had more than 2 ports so that two computers could share a range of devices instead of just two. But, it's USB powered, so....Since this is only powered by USB, high power draw devices will not work correctly. This is not a problem specific to this device but to all devices that rely on USB power.I did experience some issues where it would disconnect and reconnect right away, usually but not always when I moved it. I reseated the cables and the problem seems to have gone away. The button has a light ring around it: blue for the first device, green for the second. I think that's as good a way as any, although having the PC side facing forward with an LED by each port would also work, or LEDs with covers shaped like 1 & 2 or A & B would make it easy, too.I don't know why one port is labeled for keyboard/mouse, while the other says "USB". Having one port for 2 devices doesn't really make sense and I have tested by plugging in 2 mice, so I think it will unnecessarily confuse people. I also think that they could have labeled the PC ports more obviously. The numbers are right above them, small and dark. The instructions are not particularly clear. Just plug two USB devices into the "bottom" edge, and your two PCs into the "top", and you're done. If a device doesn't fully function, you'll have to move it directly to a USB port on your computer or a powered hub. In fact, you could attach the powered hub to this so that everything on it would be fully powered, and then plug something basic into the other one.It comes with two USB-A cables.

I use this to switch between a Mac Mini M4 and Win 11 Mini Computer. One Wired KB and Wired Mouse. Yay. One problem I noticed , A slight latency issue with the wired mouse. When I connect the mouse directly to either the Mac or Win machine, no issues. but going through this can cause some "jerky motion". Its very slight, so not a deal breaker, especially not at this price. And yes, I'm still using it

nice solutionone quirk is that when the Chromebox wakes from sleep, the Logitech mouse is sluggish trackingso i have to flip the A-B button from blue to green back to blue to get mouse back to normal speedthis may be more of a Logitech Unify issue than this USB switchas I have had to unplug the Unify dongle from time to time in the past for other quirks

Very simple compact design, works well and I like that it doesn't need an external power source like a lot of these switches need to switch a mouse and keyboard between two computers. The only thing that I really wish it included was an optional remote button.
