I have bought these mulch mats multiple times and used all around my yard. I used to have slate stepping stones in the front around a flower bed (too slippery when wet or icy! I almost went flying a couple times), then I tried rubber stepping stones (they move around too much and are easy to trip on if the ground is uneven), and then I tried laying these mulch mats down. They work really well, cover a lot of area, stay in place even if there are uneven spots, and can be anchored easily if needed on sloping ground.I have five frenetic Mini Aussies and I have areas in the backyard that they have totally torn up the grass which became a dirt or mud patch depending on the weather. I gave up trying to save the grass and laid down the rubber mulch mats side by side, and it solved the problem and helps keep my house clean from mud being tracked in.I'll buy more if needed. The only thing to improve (and I wouldn't take a star away for it) is that the weed blocker on the underside would stay attached better. If you move the mat for any reason the weed blocker separates from it, so you have to straighten the weed blocker on the ground first, then straighten the rubber mulch mat. I haven't done it yet, but you can use artificial turn staples to pin mat down. One thing. I wish the price would go down too. Aren't these made from old tires? It's not like there aren't millions of them to shred[...

Very pleased with the recycled rubber path, just roll it out a bit of adjustment and mine has stayed put for 3 months. If you manhandle it don't be surprised if you pull chunks out of it as it is the nature of the beast. My only problem is I want it to be wider making it 1m wide would save buying more.

Pretty awful in my opinion.I have a landscape bed that is on a slope and wood mulch floats away when it rains and the rubber mulch is better but it still moves down hill. I thought this might be the perfect solution but it is awful and creates more of a mess than it solves. The rubber is thin shreds that are not well attached to anything. I tried to roll it out and as I pulled it into place large chunks fell off the backing. (It's not attached to the backing at all) I'm not sure I even want to try to use it as it's obvious that it will fall apart and just make a mess. They are not chunks similar to wood or rubber mulch, they are small shreds that won't even rake up well and it falls apart everywhere.I highly recommend avoiding this product.
good quality, looks great

I won’t be using this anywhere. It’s not a sheet, because pieces fall off it everywhere, so it’s purpose can’t be realized as it was intended for the trail my dogs follow in my yard, because regular mulch or rubber mulch gets thrown all over the place. But this is not any better.

This mulch mat is a great solution for keeping my garden walkways neat without all the maintenance of real mulch. It’s thick, durable, and heavy enough to stay in place without shifting. I love that it’s made from recycled rubber, so it’s eco-friendly too. It was easy to roll out and instantly made my flower bed areas look more polished

This stuff is terrible. The backing is not attached and the rubber mat falls apart in your hands with every touch. Big chunks come off just trying to unroll it. Very disappointing. Good luck getting it back in the vox to return it.

Always solid product. When shipped. They are quite heavy. I have to cut it open and move them individually. But these generally have been durable.

Heavy box that got roughed up a bit in shipping, but the product inside was still fine. It is definitely black rubber mulch mat like I ordered, and was easy to cut the plastic on top off, and roll it out onto our planting bed. I will need a bunch to fill the space, but was just trying this one out, because I'd gotten rubber mulch to scatter last year, and wasn't as happy with it. This looks great, and the only had part is jiggling the box to get it out. Just put it down, so not sure how it will deal with the weeds already there, but it certainly should block them from getting additional sunlight and rain, so that should shorten their life cycle. I'm happy I ordered this and will see how well it works this season. So far, not a thing wrong except that I need to buy more to fill the space. Good thickness. Seems durable and is definitely functional. Happy customer.
