The connecting "pins" are very cheap screws that bend the first time you pick up a pan. They broke after just two weeks of use. They should be hardened pins not off the shelf screws.

Hace su trabajo pero es un producto muy ligero para el peso que debe soportar, da la impresión de doblarse o no apretar con fuerza. Viene con tornillo y tuerca en las uniones lo que puede provocar pérdida de piezas. No recomendable para uso industrial.

I use similar grippers at work, so I decided to grab this for home use. Not quite as good as the ones im used to, and the construction of it is kinda cheap, but it gets the job done.

Not sure how sturdy this would be with something heavy like a deep dish pizza, but for backpacking it was worth packing as it meant i could save space by packing steel pots without any handles, everyone who came ended up borrowing it, definitely something handy to have and probably the cheapest/most lightweight version I could find on amazon.ca

This isn't the best made but the good news is it’s an easy fix. The screws that hold it together were both bent just from the pressure from heat shrink packaging it is in. The good news is you can replace the screws with #6 screws that fit perfectly and really make it very sturdy and strong. I wouldn’t trust those cheap screws it comes with on a 14 inch deep dish pizza’s weight, no way! I replaced the screws before using it and I could bend those old screws with just my fingers!

The gripper works great to pull my deep dish pizza pan out of the oven. You'd be trying to get a grip on the pan and most likely getting your potholders in your pizza without this product.It costs a little more than I wanted to pay but it got here quick and just in time for my first deep dish pizza.
