I've used this bit to cut 0.020", 0.025", 0.032", 0.040", and 0.050" 6061-T6 typically for experimental aircraft parts. The bit lasts just about as long as the more expensive bits... I get about a full day or two of cutting before it snaps. Since it's a small diameter bit with a long cutting length, you can't push it like a fatter bit. But you can't push the expensive bits either. Running about 10,000 rpm at 15 to 30 ipm, no coolant, no lubricant. They usually all fail from fatigue, so make sure the material is solidly held down so there's no vibration or chatter.HOWEVER, this bit is more like 3.0mm / 0.118", not exactly 1/8" / 0.125". No big deal if you adjust your offsets.

These are bits I’ve been using just about the entire time I’ve had my Shapeoko. I have only had one break, but I don’t fault the bit as I was pushing it bit more than I should have. The great thing is these are very inexpensive and work great. I have recommended them to new CNC users as bits that are fantastic to start out with. That doesn’t mean more experienced CNC users should avoid them, in fact, I recommend them as well. I have used more expensive bits and really could not tell any difference. I like that it has a 1/4 shank so I don’t have to change collets as much. If you have a CNC then I definitely recommend grabbing these.

Junk. Won’t be trying these again. Took a chance on something new but now I’ll go back to my other brand. At least a dull one of those finished the cut this one barely started.

I only tested this bit once on a pvc sheet, and it cut it very well, leaving very clean edges.

Cuts well. Stays sharp. Better price than comparable bits.

Like all my Yonico end mills, this drag bit is first rate. Could not be more pleased.
