1/4 inch shank up cut end mill but. Coated for longevity it is best for clean flat bottom cutting.

I grabbed this to use with my Dewalt plunge router. I wanted an up cut bit for the times I have to hog out a lot of martials and the up cut pulls the sawdust away from inside the cut and up the flute for dust extraction. This bit seems like it is made from high quality marital and spins up good and makes a clean cut as you would expect from this type of bit. Overall happy and would replace it with the same when this wears out.
