I have bought this carburetor before and had good success, however this time was different. I took it from the package and installed, the mower did not run well, I checked everything else that could possibly cause the result I was receiving. So took a different carburetor of same type and installed it and mower runs fine. I will say this is the first bad one that I have bought.

The carburetor fit my push mower perfectly, air filter and spark plug was correct. Installed in 30 mins the mower started on the first pull. Just a shame you got to buy one every year cause there plastic. Wish they’d make a replacement that would last a few years at least. Over 400 sold in the month I bought mine, gee wonder if it’s a problem ???

The OEM carburetor for my Craftsman clogged almost immediately after buying it. After rebuilding it and even drilling it out it still continued to clog, even though I'd run fuel with no ethanol and seafoam/Lucas detergents. I decided to look to the aftermarket to see if they had addressed this problem.Rebuilding the carb takes about an hour, and my time is worth more than. $20/hr. I was able to swap this carb in less than 20 mins and it fired up on the first pull. Super happy with this purchase.

This kit for our mower surprised my husband! It came with everything needed to fix it. He already had put in a new spark plug and a few other things and here the kit with it all!
