These are only 1/8” thick steel, most 8” bunk brackets are normally 1/4” thick. I would not have purchased knowing this as it does not say in the description. I have never seen the 8” brackets to be this lightweight as they are supposed to be heavy duty.

These boat trailer bunk brackets are well-made. All hardware look and feel very heavy duty. Brackets and U-bolts all have good solid manufacturing. Very happy with the quality and functionality of this bunk bracket kit!

Comparing these to what you'd pick up at like Home Depot or Lowes they definitely measure up. They're rigid and hard to bend which is what they're made for. I do only wish they had more holes in them for screws, but they hold in place very well.

I’ve been fixing up my powerboat trailer and putting on new bunks was one of the jobs. These galvanized brackets helped a lot. They come with u-bolts that let me secure the bunks to the square metal frame. After that, I was able to cut and glue down new bunk carpet and, with other work to repaint and put new lights on, the trailer is like new again.

These could be used for lots of different things. I am using them for my utility trailer to fasten items we use for camping, but this could be used for lots of different things. They are heavy, so be aware if you have weight restrictions they are not light. They’re very well-made screws threads and the bolts look really good. Excited to attach these this weekend! Good price for the good quality item you get.

These is a very nice well made and sturdy boat bunk kit. If you have an older boat trailer and need to replace the bunks or hardware this is a good kit to use. It is designed to fit most trailers and is easy to install. It is heavy duty and a good value based on quality. This has worked well for the boat trailer I just rebuilt.

The brackets on my trailer now are rusted and will soon fail, thus the reason for this purchase. They look like and fit the description exactly. Quality metal with a dimpling for added strength. They were an exact duplicate of my old ones, thus a somewhat easy replacement. So glad they come with new U-bolts, mine broke trying to take off.
