Now I've only used it a few times and only for the main reason I bought which was to scrape old caulking off of a dozen or so sinks and backsplashes in a restaurant. And then repeating that at 5 other locations however, it has worked flawlessly. It's not overly loud, it's easy to hold onto even without the handle attached, didn't heat up much at all and it gets the job done. I was a little worried about only having one battery and figured that I would need to remove the old caulk from a couple sinks then charge the battery while I cleaned those areas and applied new sealant. But, the battery never died on me. I did charge it after removing the old sealant from about a third of the total areas and then again after finishing 2/3s of the areas. So it ran on and off for about an hour in-between charges which is about what my DeWalt 2.0 MAH battery lasts. Also I did the first store completely with the included scraper and it got the job done however, the other locations did go better once a purchased a set of 4 3rd party scraper blades. If you're on the fence about getting it or not just doit!
