This tool is a must for any remodeling. Makes cuts I could not do any other way. Had an older version that finally wore out after 10 years and countless blades. This one works just as good. Expect to get 10 years out of this and then buy another one.

Yeah.. I am getting quite a few but they all take the same battery! This is really important to me. I have a lot of cutting/sanding tools but this is worth getting. Alongside of a corded older one? seems just as good to me. Easy to change blades.. not too bulky..

I am a professional woodworker, and I generally don't buy Ryobi tools, but I decided to give the oscillating tool a chance. It is a great tool and very affordable. The only hitch, which turned out fine, was that the seller (Miidwest Tool) mixed my order up with another customer and I got a Ryobi battery rather than the tool. After contacting them, they quickly sent the right item and told me to keep the battery for my trouble. Great tool, great seller.

I've used Ryobi 18v tools since the 1990's when they were (a more attractive) dark blue. Some of those still run strong. I added this recently for the usual miscellany of cutting and sanding. These are really handy tools for small jobs & spaces. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is just a little underpowered compared to some of the bigger names in tools. But the value is great for anyone already using Ryobi batteries. You'll feel good about choosing this.

This replaced a cheaper plug-in Harbor Freight multi-tool that lasted less than a year. I already had a collection of Ryboi tools, so this was a convenient and useful addition. For a battery driven tool, it's had enough power to handle all my woodworking needs (and occasionally for cutting aluminum.) I already have plenty of spare batteries, so any battery life judgements I make are not necessarily what you will experience.

Well, I had it for a couple of months, then it stopped turning on when I pressed the trigger. The problem is happening intermittently (about half the time) but it's very annoying.

Works great! Good deal, needed for a few projects around the house and boy did it help get those done. Works great with the Ryobi One+ batteries as well as the generic compatible batteries. Easy to use and change bits/blades on.
