The dimensions of the tray are 16 inches wide and 10 inches deep.The AST423Z is configured to be compatible with AST420X, AST420Y, AST420Y-15, AST4214, AST424Y, AST4399, AST439C2 AST4421A and other standard lighting and/or speaker Stands. The AST423Z-P tray is designed to have the load capacity of up to 10 lbs. This device tray is constructed with heavy-duty steel plate with a powder-coating finish for stability and durability. The AST423Z-P tray is not designed for the microphone stand and the sheet music stand.

Good solid product, I have no fears mounting expensive gear on this.One thing could be clearer in the description, this is intended for mounting on a VERTICAL pole. I was hoping to use it on a tripod leg, but the angle of the shelf is NOT adjustable.

We use this to hold the receiver(s) for a wireless microphone or two and clamp it to the upright pole of a speaker stand. It clamps on solidly, no wobbling/no slipping, it’s sturdy, has a lip around the edge to protect things from sliding off, and it simply gets the job done the way we want it to. I like that the attachment point has a protective rubber piece so the shelf doesn’t slide down the speaker pole, and it doesn’t mar the paint on it either. This was a the perfect solution for our needs and I’ve recommended it to several of my colleagues.
