Super product, now you have to install MACOS with usb Device, because the internet installation cant download de disk driver.

Why spend 100% more for an apple-specific drive? Don't! Get a M.2 drive from amazon and put it in your MacBook Air and stop getting the warning that you don't have enough space! You'll thank me for it!

I purchased a renewed Samsung 960 EVO NVMe 500GB drive. I have a 2015 Macbook Air laptop model A1466.I was able to get this to work however you CANNOT use internet recovery (reboot opt-cmd-R), the drive will NOT show up in drive utility. Instead you must use a USB stick to boot into your macbook which you can easily make using dosdude's patcher which can be downloaded using google to find his website. You can also find youtube videos on how to do this... Then you can enter the Drive Utility and now you should see your new drive and create the partition you need.Afterwards, the drive shows up and you can either a fresh copy of catalina or restore from time machine.

So I’ll be honest. I looked at a bunch of these little chips. The reviews for this one everyone just said “did not work”. I’ve been building and fixing computers and macs for 15 years. I gave it a shot figuring it was customers with no computer knowledge. But I was wrong this chip specifically is just a terrible product.

Well that is all there is to say about it. Tried a Samsung Evo 960 Pro and the laptop doesn't see it. I have also tried another similar adapter and it failed too. According to some sources online SinTech and their full board adapter is your best beat. I have no idea why some of these adapters are so shoddy, but this does not work at all for me.
