I don’t have anything to compare the readings to but the battery life in these things are horrendous!! Lasted less than an hour after charging for 5 hours??!?! If you want to use these it will be 100% necessary to keep them plugged in.

it is priced right....but....a few issues are deal breakers for me...first, even after calibrating it as per instructions, it fails to read right, off by 300+same as other reviewer, so it was not just minenext, the display, even when powered via usb, does NOT remain on, it powers down on its ownno way to keep it displayed, so not for continuous read out like all my other metersso OK for spot check, but not for continuous...no reason why they could not leave it on via a switch or software selectionits not accurate and it wont stay on, so no go for me, 1 star, as it does work as a spot checker, but that limits its use too much IMO... no reason for bad readings, they should be checked at factory, even if it adds to the price point.... sorry....

I got this CO2 monitor for the house and car. Readings are way off and putting it outside didn't calibrate it as with the many other CO2 meters I've used. It's compact and lightweight, and the display is readable indoors but not in bright light. It lasts less than a day on battery so it'll need to be on a charger most of the time (micro USB).Testing accuracy I put it outdoors for 24 hours and left it on, but it still showed 731 when it should be in the low 400s (about a 170% error). Indoors it showed 1082 when another reliable meter showed only 713. So the number does increase with higher CO2, but using its own numbers that don't match standard. Maybe it's just not calibrating when outdoors, but I don't know how to get it to.
