Delivered well secured in a sturdy carton, this slim KVM is solidly built, and works well. With a very solid metal housing, this KVM definitely feels robust. On the front, there are two status LEDs (PC1 and PC2), as well as the switcher button. Also on the front, with easy access, are 4x 5Gbps USB-A ports, and the remote switcher port. The real magic is around back, where you find three pairs of DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-A ports. In service, the KVM works pretty well.I have no issues running 4K240Hz from my primary computer to my Neo G8 display.GSync and HDR work just fine as well 👍🏻My work laptop connects at 4K120Hz just fine, though it can run at 4K240Hz when connected directly to the display...Even swapping cables does not help, though my primary computer has no issues running 4K240Hz from either side of the KVM 🤷🏻♂️The only real issue I have with the KVM is a practical one.Why is USB-A used for input??Really, this should be USB-C input, letting us use much easier to source USB-A to USB-C cables, or straight USB-C to USB-C cables.Sure, you can find USB-A to USB-A cables, but it is a bit of an inconvenience...At least a pair of USB-A to USB-A cables are included in the box, but they may well be a bit on the short side, depending on where your computers are located.Overall though, the KVM works well, is reasonably priced, and is well worth trying 👍🏻

I bought a new 45" monitor for my home office. I have a personal Macbook and a work PC laptop. The project snowballed into finding the right combination of cabling and adapters to make use of the full screen for both laptops. Once that was solved, the next task was to figure out how to conveniently switch sources for the single display port input on the monitor. This KVM switch works perfectly, and the bonus is that I can also switch my wireless keyboard and mouse between the laptops. I also have one of the USB ports on the switch powering an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter.

It has inconsistent signal detection—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I often have to unplug and reconnect the cables multiple times just to get the display to show up. There are also frequent flickering and resolution issues, even with high-quality DisplayPort cables. For the price, I expected a reliable and seamless experience

I've had trouble finding switches for DisplayPort cables. Either they're over twice the price of this one with no extra functionality or they are half the price but do not allow switching of keyboard and mouse or other USB devices along with the monitor. This one thankfully is exactly in the middle (Goldilocks zone?) and allows switching four USB devices along with the monitor. It has a button you can attach so you do not have to use precious desk real estate for a switch box with cables coming out everywhere, taking a lot of space. It also comes with two USB-A to A cords to use the switch, and a small power supply. It is very sturdy and looks well-made. It does not come with the DisplayPort cables, but most KVM switches do not. It is very easy to set up, just connect the cables and you're good to go. The switching of computers to the one monitor goes very smoothly for me, there is one flicker and then the image is still and clear.Because it's so hard to find an item like this for this price point, and because it is good quality, I give it five stars.

Not going to knock this thing to hard as it actually works unlike the vast majority of the switches I have tried. So Bravo it works. Only issue I have is that it will not drive my Samsung OLED at 3440x1440 175Hz it'll only let it got to 120Hz. For a device that claims 8K 60Hz support driving 1440P at 175Hz should be do-able. Just noting this for any potential buyers. And not its not the cables as soon as I remove the switch and go direct both cables support full resolution and full 175Hz. Again not saying don't buy it, Like I said it actually works. Just FYI you may not be able to drive full resolution and Hz.
