It does not switch smooth and it is hard to get it to make all my computers recognize both screens. I have to hit the reset button a lot to get the mouse and keyboard to switch. I will use it, but would not buy it again.

This is fairly bulky, but shouldn't be a problem if you mount it out of sight. My main problem with this device was that, while it technically has EDID support, it doesn't have monitor emulation to the un-selected PCs. Every time that I switched PCs, I had to rearrange all my windows.I do have to say that the customer/tech support was great. I emailed "Mark", and he responded with a very clear response. I would consider buying their next release of this (should have fixed this issue, according to Mark) just on the basis of the support.

The overall build quality on this device seems fairly nice, but the features do fall just a bit short and has a number of quirks. The Good:1. After some experimentation, its working, I can switch between my Windows Desktop, Windows Laptop, Mac Mini & BMAX Linux box perfectly fine.2. Happy with the cable quality that came with it, but they only ship you 4 hybrid HDMI/USB2.0 cables. So, for a full hookup, you will need another 6 HDMI 2.0 cables and 4x 3.5mm cables.3. Definitively doing all the critical aspects of the job that I needed it to do!The kinda Bad:1. Using the 3.5mm audio ports will yield a weird hum sound that kind of fades in/out. This is actually the main reason I deducted a star; seems like a defect to me. I actually just bought a separate switch for audio to resolve this. Highly recommend this whisper quiet mechanical audio switch.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NFTMC8K/2. The 2 USB ports for designated Mouse/Keyboard are useless if you have anything other than remedial gear. I had to use the "other" two available ports for my DAS Mechanical Keyboard and G502 mouse. The manufacturer software literally will not be able to find the devices otherwise. Also note, stealing the only 2 remaining USB ports means I can't add any other shared peripherals.3. Should be using USB 3.0! Blanket statement for all devices!4. Don't expect your GSync to work through this.5. This is an HDMI device and it will punish you for trying to use Display Port adapters. I have dual 2560x1080 monitors and I never found a way to get my GTX 1080 TI Display Ports to use that resolution. I wound buying a DVI/HDMI cord to run the second monitor; which is crazy... Either way, I was going to run a DP to one of the monitors so I can switch the input on the monitor when I want GSync @ 144hz for gaming.6. Their power adapter could have a longer cord and I wish it was using a standardized USB plug adapter of some kind. From what I can tell, this is semi redundant anyway, without it plugged in, it appears to alternatively sap power from the various USB's you do have plugged in. Again, just not comfortable with that since its already coming at USB 2.0 disadvantage.
