Fit nicely, 2 of the screws were too small and had to use 2 of the original ones and find 2 washers to fit those screws. It also would have been nice if there were pre drilled holes for the front splash guard. I used some self taping screws and washers. Also falls a little short in the back. I bought it for the access door to change the oil filter. All seid and done it came out clean looking.

This skid plate fits a 2012 4Runner, but two things: 1) I needed to reuse the larger OEM bolts as the included ones were too small. Additionally, I had to add a washer and lock-washer to each of these bolts for installation; and 2) the skid plat is a little shorter / doesn't cover as far back as the OEM skid plate. After installing the skid plate, I was excited to try the oil filter access panel, the primary reason for purchasing the skid plate. I don't know how many times I've had the OEM skid plate land on my head, granted more of a slow graceful descent than a violent landing, that always had me muttering "Use your brains not your head...". I digress, I removed the access panel and there smiling back at me was the oil filter housing, which should make future oil changes easier/faster. However, when I went to re-install the access panel, I soon discovered that one of the provided M6x1.0 bolts was too short to engage the threads of the nut clipped to the kid plate. I must have spent a good 20-30 minutes trying to re-bend the clip to make the nut sit closer/flush to the skid plate to no success. So, to salvage this skid plate, I picked up some longer stainless-steel bolts (20mm, probably could have used 16mm) plus washers and lock washers. Now I can easily re-install secure the access panel, and all that is left is to see how this holds up to the elements and the salt in the wintertime. I know the description says 2014-2024 4Runners, so I can't fault them for having to: re-use OEM bolts and add washers to install the skid plate. However, because I had to buy bolts, washers and lock-washers for the access panel I have to deduct 1 star.

I purchased a brand new 4Runner and wanted to install an after market skid plate that allows me to access the oil filter without removing the OEM skid plate. In order for me to use this particular after market skid plate I would first have to dismantle and permanently removed the two stabilizer frame supports under the front of the motor. I didn’t want to do this so I returned the product.

Easy installation, fit existing holes, great quality. Only issue- 2 out of 4 bolts provided worked. Had to use old bolts. Overall super impressed.
