This unit reminds me a lot of my two-channel Scarlet audio interface. --but at a much lower price tag. The box itself has a solid construction of mostly metal. It was plug and play in Reaper on a Windows PC, which is how I hoped it would be. Your use will of course vary based on software and hardware. Whereas my Scarlet came with a lot of software, this does not, but I didn't expect it to either, especially at the current price point. The audio quality is as good as any other interface I have. For a no-frills, easy to use device, I was pretty impressed by this. It will make a good, "throw in the backpack" interface for me. I would suggest it for that, or for newbies to home recording, or for folks who can't afford anything more impressive. --but I think as long as it works with your hardware and software, it won't matter your budget or skill set, and you'll get some good recordings.

The quality looks really good, but it wouldn't work on my pc laptop. I'm new to amp Sims and decided to get amplitube 5 on my new pc , so I got this audio interface, and it wouldn't work. I even went to geek squad to have them help but my laptop wouldn't recognize it or something. I ended up getting another interface, and I was able to use it without any issues. Maybe I got a detective one,but I had to return it. The quality looks and feels solid, but it wouldn't work for me.

we needed a low latency, low cost, usb audio interface for one of our midi rigs. we are very happy with the headroom and low latency. monitoring and ability is good. just basic well crafted box. good deal. how about a rack mount version???

Couldn’t get my 2019 MacBook pro to recognize this as an audio source. Connected my guitar directly into GarageBand and that worked fine.

This is a good audio interface for someone starting out recording at home. It has all the features you would find in a more expensive audio interface. Works perfectly with ProTools and FL studio. It has a USB-B 3.0 output to the your computer and it has 48v phantom power for condenser microphones. It's easy to mix the input with the output from your DAW for overdubs. I would recommend this to anyone starting out recording at home.

This interface is on par with the very popular red model. No drivers needed, plug and play. You don't get the not-very-useful LE software versions that are kind of useless anyway.Buy this and spend the savings on better mics and plugins.
