I installed these in my 2000 se frontier 4wd crew cab. They were easy to install, and there is a day and night difference in how the truck feels. I would highly recommend these. I will update how they have performed after a few thousand miles.

Installed on a 1991 toyota RWD work truck and installed matching fronts. It’s hard to compare against a set of worn out leaky OEM shocks so obviously there was a dramatic improvement, but beyond that I am very impressed with the performance of these shocks. My truck now has a firm, controlled ride that eats up small road blemishes and takes all the punch out of potholes and speed bumps. Body roll is significantly reduced and fish-tailing over washboard is eliminated. Spine-jaring northern highway dips at speed are reduced to a controlled bump. Gas charge has brought ride height up 1/2”+, though that may sag over time. Install a breeze other than the challenge of compressing into place (used floor jack). ***Only negative is comes with no hardware at all.***Loving them so far!

Nice shocks and they work well and were easy to install, glad I did the mono max for they are a little stronger for the heavier loads.

I have been running on these for about a week now, and I'm very pleased with the handling so far. I replaced shocks just a couple of years ago, but they didn't hold up. My commute route often has high cross winds (20-30 mph, higher gusts). I finally feel like I am actually in control of the vehicle 2000 XTerra.

This shock, along with the same model for the front have proved an excellent choice for my 1989 Toyota pickup, 2 WD, base model. While it wouldn't be reasonable to compare this shock with the 23 year old OEM shocks, I have been very pleased with them. After installing them, the truck rides very nicely, handles well, and doesn't bounce. While I thought these shocks would be very firm, in fact the ride is still very comfortable with no load on the truck. I've had KYB shocks in the past, and always been happy with them. This one will be no different.
