When I open the box, the handle was already broken. There only three welding spot holding the handle. There was some parts also missing... like the coffee basket!

Arrived without an essential part of the glass top can’t be used

I looked at every stovetop percolator on Amazon, and eventually picked this one. It’s a 9 cup version. I was so satisfied with it I also just ordered the 6 cup version. This percolator will definitely work on an induction cooktop - lt works perfectly. The coffee maker has a glass bubble, the body is heavy stainless steel, and the bottom is even heavier! Except for one other percolator coffee pot that I found on Amazon, none except this one works with induction cooktops. The other one that I found that claimed it would work on an induction cooktop had a plastic bubble. So, the bottom line is that this percolator will work on any sort of cooktop (gas, electric, ceramic, and induction, including a campfire!). In fact, I ordered the smaller 6-cup version specifically for camping where I will use either an alcohol burner, canned gas, or wood fired to make coffee. I haven’t it figured out yet, but essentially none of these percolator coffee pots, including this one, define how many ounces per cup, and I don’t know why. My definition of one cup is 8 ounces and coffee pots being sold rarely define what they mean by one cup. But that’s absolutely no problem for me! This 9 cup percolator, can definitely make at least four 8-ounce cups of the delicious coffee! A number of reviews that I read claimed that the handle gets too hot. That’s total nonsense! The handle is metal sandwiched between two pieces of wood. The wood, is a heat sink, and I can easily pick up the hot coffee pot with my bare hand and it’s just warm - definitely not hot! Also, there have been a couple of reviews about the coffee pot lid being a little loose. That’s only slightly true, but from the photo you can see that the lid is hinged to the body of the pot and certainly can’t fall off. There’s a thumb hold near the handle that allows you (if you’re unsure about the lid) to additionally hold the lid closed when you’re pouring the coffee (or open the lid while the pot is still hot).

Great coffee! No plastic!

I really liked this little pot until I made my coffee, the handle gets very hot and is not heat proof, so beware when you go to take it off the stove. The handle was so hot and you need a pot holder to take it off the stove. So disappointed.

Works well on my induction stove top.

This percolator makes a great cup of coffee. I needed one for my induction top stove. Couldn’t work better. I love it!

I loved that this coffee pot was made of stainless steel and worked on my induction stove top. However, the wooden handle was cheap and not as nicely built as the rest of the pot. There is also a serious design flaw with the lid to the coffee grounds chamber. This lid does not fit tightly which means grounds make their way into the coffee every time. Because the pot is designed for the grounds lid to rest on the rim of the pot (not the coffee ground chamber itself), it is impossible to keep coffee grounds out of the coffee. I’ve never seen a percolator designed this way. I loved the glass top but I can’t stand all the grounds in my coffee. I tried different filters without success. I’ve had an electric percolator for years and never had a problem. Since there is no way to keep grounds in the chamber, I had to return the pot. My refund is pending.
