This is a 'wishful thinking' tool. The cutting blades vary from 16 to 18.5mm. One end of the cutting blades has not been machined and it is the only part of the blade that is 22mm. There is actually no adjustment since the shaft the blades rest on is the same diameter along the entire length. Not one of the blades has the same dimensions as another. This is another piece of garbage from China. Do not purchase this as you will be sorely disappointed. Only two reviews are about this product. The other reviews are for something else entirely.

I use this reamer for synthetic sleeve bearing. Sometimes synthetic bearing need more clearance when warm.

I am retired now, but worked for 49 years as a tool and die maker. I had often used this type of reamer to make holes to a specific diameter.It is easy to use this type of reamer to make a non specific diameter quickly, size can be adjusted infinitely within the range of the adjustable reamers range.

Is this a precision tool, no. But it was good enough for one time use. When it 1st arrived, I had to take the reamer apart and clean all the "grim and dirt" (probably grinding dust) from the tool, oil and reassemble to use. I did like that I could adjust the diameter and progressively enlarge the hole size until I got the fit I needed.

I must have gotten a defective unit. The blades were not parallel across the entire reamer and it varies based on location. The photos are just two points for reference. Either the blades were ground improperly or the tapers were not manufactured correctly. These are supposed to be used to increase the size of an existing bore precisely by hand but if you used it it would certainly walk in the bore and cut an untrue bore. It was so off I didn't even pull out a micrometer to check any further.
