* Very Nice Bag: I like the bag size, style and features a lot. Great size for holding everything for a project or two. 4 zippered compartments: the main compartment, 1 front pocket, 1 clear plastic sided pocket and 1 net sided pocket. I like that the crochet hooks are held in place individually with stretch elastic (easy to get the correct size). This is much nicer than when they are bunched together in a pocket, and there are additional slots for additional metal or narrow crochet hooks. Though be careful that yarn doesn’t get caught in the velcro used to hold the crochet hook section in place.* 10 skeins of different colored yarn: 70 yards each 700 yards total; basic quality; nice mix of colors, nice for learning crochet.* 10 crochet hooks in sizes starting at 2.0mm up to 6.0 mm, in .5mm increments.* Also included (basic quality on these but fine for a starter kit): 6 plastic stitching big eyed needles in 2 sizes; 10 stitch markers in different colors; 1 Tension ring; 1 snips/scissors; 1 tape measure; 1 row counter (mine was stiff at first); 2 yarn winding boards; 1 small pom pom maker; and 3 cable needles (used in knitting not crochet).* Just okay: I wish the bag exterior material was not corduroy - Feel it may get dirty easily, but it’s okay. Also, the patch with the initial is a sticker which you can remove.* Not okay: They include 4 plastic eyes that you would need to glue on. They are not safety eyes. No glue is included which is okay as I would never glue parts on. Would rather they included basic stitch instructions, or instructions for the pom pom makers, or not include the non-safety eyes at all.* Overall a nice beginner crochet kit.

The bag is functionally awesome and I’m bummed that I packed too much other stuff in my bags and didn’t have room to bring it on my work trip. The supplies are good too, but I can get any kit with approximately those supplies (admittedly most don’t come with yarn bobbins or Pom Pom makers). The bag design is 100% the selling point here. It’s ideal for anyone doing small scale projects, keeping pocket sized yarn and tools neatly organized. It’s not going to work for huge skeins, but for amagurumi it’s perfect. And I think the yarn was milk cotton which is nice to work with (though not actually cotton in case you didn’t know).

This kit is adorable, especially for the price. The kit includes everything that you'll need as a beginning crocheter, including hooks, stitching needles, markers, and more. The tools range in quality, although most of them are more than acceptable. If you're used to buying cheap amigurumi kits, the items in this kit are of equivalent or better quality. They may not last a lifetime, but they're more than adequate to get you started (and great for the price).The bag is also a standout item, with a nice overall design that makes it useful as an on-the-go crochet kit. There's plenty of room for tools and yarn, and the quality seems fairly good. Again, the bag may not be a lifetime item, but it's extremely good for this price point.Likewise, the yarn isn't bad. It's not as nice as some high-end yarn, but it's equivalent to what you'd typically find in a big box store or a cheaper kit. On the bright side, you get plenty of colors and enough skeins to work through numerous small projects. As long as you take care to avoid causing splits, I think this yarn is more sufficient for beginner projects and a great value when taken as a whole.

This is a cute corduroy bag that is well suited to carry your yarny tools and even a small project. The stitch quality and zippers feel good, and overall it feels well made.The crochet hooks are decent quality ergonomic hooks that work well and have no jiggly parts and no burrs.The yarn is pretty cheap, but it is fine and what you frequently find in kits, it might be a little splitty, especially if using a smaller hook size, but the color options are fun and they are well saturated colors.The little divider that holds the hooks is removable with Velcro, which is useful if you need to pull out your hooks to look at them while you decide what you need, but then fit back into place. It is a little risky to put Velcro in the bag, but it is fine.The mesh pocket has a nice smooth working zipper and it convenient for holding flat tools like shuttles or bobbins.The clear window pockets also have a smooth zipper, and the plastic is appropriately thick and has no holes.The yarn needles have big eyes, but are all plastic, which is fine but def not my favorite.It has a couple of the amigurumi eyes that require glue and there is no glue, I am not sure why they are in there, when they could have just added a few more stitch markers for probably the same cost.Speaking of the stitch markers, they are fine, they are the plastic safety pin style and have no visible burrs. In the main product photo of the bag in use it shows a divided stitch markers box, which is not part of the kit, it would be nice if it was to corral all the little bits and bobs, but alas no.This is another crochet kit that comes with cable needles for knitting, which I am no sure where that started but really it should stop.The tiny Pom Pom makers are fun, tho there are no instructions which could be frustrating for some users.The snips are standard snips that you find in these kits, which work fine with yarn and can be very helpful. I feel like I have about 400 pairs of them now, but they find their use.The tension ring is cute, it is not for everyone, but can be very helpful for newer crafters who have challenge managing their gauge and tension.The stitch counter is fine and can fit on some knitting needles and non ergonomic hooks, but the quality is mid and it sticks a bit.All that, overall it is a solid little kit, the bag is cute and useful, the bonus letter iron on will be put to use, I am happy with it for the price.
