Now this is some HIGH quality watercolor paper. I haven't tried all the brands available out there, but this paper is really top-of-the-line.I'm using it mostly for gouache so I need a thick paper that can take a lot of water and paint, and this paper is wonderful. It does not change shape, doesn't create bubbles and stays super flat. It absorbs water fast so you can add more paint more quickly.I love the format as well, it is slightly bigger than a regular card so it's great to create personnal cards for gifts, or smaller artwork. I did struggle a bit to separate the pages, but I understand that people like to keep the pages together so that you can carry your art around, but I need to use a paper cutter to separate a page from another.Otherwise, this paper is WELL worth the money and i'll have to purchase some more because it is unbelievable.

These accordian watercolor books are so pretty! This would make a great gift! The paper is really thick and I did quite a bit of scrubbing and it doesn't pill!

The sketchbooks are accordion style, so there is one continuous strip of paper, folded several times into a book. The paper is nice. I like the pretty cover

I bought this item as a promo sale on prime days. I find it very interesting and a great stocking stuffer. Otherwise I think its a bit pricey and I would have not buy it on its own. Overall I love PR hot press paper so it is good quality but PR has better price 100 percent cotton items listed which I do buy and enjoy.
