I don't think it held the product well, it depends on the power cord to really keep it in. I bought it because my father was bed ridden and needed the device closer, but it really didn't help that much. It was easy to install though.

Holds the Echo Dot firmly, allows you to hide the cord, and included double stick adhesive strips that allowed me to install on tile without drilling. Buy one!!!

It works great for mounting the Echo Dot 5th gen on the wall in my office. Keeps it off my desk but is easily useable. The only drawback is it is a little difficult to see the light ring on the echo. But I can live with it.

I purposefully added a wall socket 7 feet off the ground in my bathroom, living room and bathroom so I can mount this 5th Gen Echo Dot up high.You just need to point the "clock" display downward and there is no problem reading the time. And since it it always plugged in, you can call on Alexa to play music, etc.This wall mount hides the cord very well and the finished installation looks clean when you mount the Echo Dot above or below the wall socket you install.The 3M-like wall-tape on the back of this mounting device works very well too so I did not use screws. Just peal-and-stick!

Does a great job of Holding the Echo dot, but it's near impossible to see the color band when it wakes. I think this is the way the 5th Generation Echo is designed, but when it's mounted on the wall, it's even harder to see. In my photo, I put an arrow pointing to the band. As you can see it's very thin. After I use the wake word, I just keep talking and usually it's awake. But I wish there were a way to make the design of this holder so that the color band was easier to see.
