I made the mistake of buying a cheaper 40 amp controller that wouldn't properly charge LiFePO4 batteries even after extensive painful and frustrating programming. Every night my system would die because the batteries weren't being charged correctly.This Redodo unit is superior in every way. It is beefier, especially in the cooling fin heat sinks. The unit is large (makes you wonder about the other company's amp rating) and It charges LiFePO4 batteries right out of the box.Another great feature is the built in bluetooth moniting.Wish I would have bought this one first.

Sehr gut gebaut. Macht hochwertigen Eindruck. Bluetooth Verbindung hohe Reichweite . Display von schräg unten schlechter Ablesbar. Wie sein , scheinbar baugleicher Bruder von LiTime, ein wirklich gutes Gerät. Hoffe er hält viele Jahre. Kaufempfehlung!

Dieser Laderegler lädt lifepo Akkus vernünftig auf, auch die Ladekurve passt sowie das Abschalten.Bei mehr Leistung sollte man aber lieber auf 24 Volt gehen, da erfahrungsgemäß die Stromstärke von 40A bei 12 Volt schnell erreicht wird.Man sollte zudem bedenken, dass der Laderegler einen gewissen Eigenverbrauch hat, der über Nacht merklich werden kann.Leider ein Minus muss ich für die IT Sicherheit geben, da es kein Pairing für Bluetooth gibt, sondern jeder mot der App oder blescanner das Device ansteuern kann. In ländlichen Regionen nicht so schlimm, aber in der Stadt mit doppelter Vorsicht zu genießen, da ein unberechtigter Dritter hier Einstellungen überschreiben kann und somit Akku und Regler sowie angeschlossene Geräte schädigen kann.

Finally a decent controller from Amazon. Easy to read, program and connect from 75ft away with my phone. I'd recommend. Now to find a decent inverter here....

Fonctionne correctement mais il faudrait faire un effort sur la notice et l application en français car pour la connexion bluetooth il faut passer par l application en haut à droite cela ne se fait pas automatiquement à l ouverture de l application et surtout il manque la possibilité du réglage de courant de charge des batteries donc il vous faut soit des batteries de capacités supérieures ou egales à 400Ah en 12V (40A max en charge ) ou 200h en 24V (20A max en charge) pour rester à un taux de courant de charge maxi de 10% de la capacité de vos batteries afin d éviter de réduire leur durée de vie. C'est dommage.

I wanted to increase the capacity of my travel trailer batteries. My goal was to be able to use battery power for overnight pit stops and possibly a little boondocking. I came across Redodo Power and was impressed with their high quality and reasonable price. I purchased 2 batteries and built my system.My battery system consists of (2)100ah Redodo Power Self-Heating batteries, 600 watts of Renogy Solar Panels, a 40 amp Redodo Power MPPT Solar Controller, and a 1500 watt Fit4Less pure sine inverter. I also upgraded my travel trailer power converter to accommodate LiFePo4 batteries.I've used my system for 5 weeks over the past 5 months. Redodo Power has not disappointed me. They have plenty of power to meet my needs. The self heating works great and the BMS works flawlessly. I even discovered that they have built in Bluetooth. I downloaded and Android app and can monitor the batteries in real time.Well done Redodo Power!

I've been using this unit to power my 'solar workbench' now for the past month with just a little 200w solar panel and a 12v 100ah LifePO4 battery and it's been working great! The bluetooth connected up perfectly the first try, and everything pretty much squares up with the manual readings I get with my clamp meter. The build quality on this is even better than I expected, and I love the thick heatsink it has! This means they don't need to use a noisy fan to keep things cool and that's a big plus in my book considering the unit sits in my 'office/studio' where I want to keep things quiet. Super happy with this, as well as my 1000w Redodo inverter.

the lugs at the bottom of the unit will handle two wires @10gauge and securely fasten. The unit has a good weight and the ratings are good for now.
