This little keychain is perfect for the machinist in your life! Anyone who loves precision will enjoy this. Not only does it look nice, but it's actually functional! Measures in millimeters. I haven't checked it against actual calipers, but I don't think anyone will be buying this for accuracy. It's just a neat little gift that's well worth the price.

JJLFresheners mini caliper keychain is nice. This item is all metal and pocket sized which makes it convenient. I used to work in the shop with my father when I was little and he had lots of small caliper precision measuring tools. I would describe this as more of a cute gift for a mechanic than an actual useable tool. I found that the sliding part of it fits loose enough that it has wobble which makes exact measurements more difficult. It slides freely/loosely along the shaft unlike calipers that are snug and hold position for precision.Note that the set screw can come completely out and it is very tiny. I bought this keychain for small dowels and drill bit matching for my woodworking crafting projects. It should work well for that, though there are not any inch increments here unfortunately. I can set the distance and slide it onto different bits to compare sizes for matching. Just for your information, you need both hands to slide this into position and tighten it. Measurements are in CM. Convenient and portable size, not as practical for my needs.
