This is just a warning. There are no instructions with this guard at all!NONE!Did not have it in hard copy.Did not have it online or on the Amazon listing.My inquiries with seller were met with crickets.So,I lined up the bumper with the car. Got an idea of where it was supposed to be attached. I removed the clips, and two bolts to lower the front section of the protective undercover.I found where the attaching plates should go. It was a perfect fit. I did not use the U bolts though. And since there were no directions, and I don’t know if they are intended to assist with the fitting or are intended to stay. The three bolts that hold the plate seem to be strong enough.The undercover only needed to be trimmed minimally on either side.I drilled three holes to thread the light wiring.The retaining holes for the lights are too large. You will need to buy two larger washers.Also, if you don’t have it, buy a bumper retaining clip set with clip removers. Makes life a little easier.All in all, I am very satisfied with the bumper and lights. It fits very nicely and accentuates the lines of the Outback.
