Wasn’t able to ever get working. Was stuck with it searching for the input. I tried 3 different items but never was able to get a successful result.

Eh. It’s kinda terrible but I make it work. It’s very laggy and sometimes looses connection. I’m a teacher and I used my promethium and also my doc camera quite a bit so it was nice having a wireless hdmi. But it’s super laggy. So in my opinion. Don’t spend money on this one get a more expensive one. Also I don’t have time to return it or exchange so I’m just making do with it.

This wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver set is awesome! I always had trouble connecting my computer and projector before, but after using this wireless HDMI set, everything became simple and easy. Just plug it in and use it. It supports the 2.4/5GHz frequency band and can stably transmit high-definition video and audio, allowing me to enjoy the convenience of wireless transmission. It also supports 4K resolution and the picture quality is clear and delicate, making watching movies and working at home more comfortable and efficient. Highly recommend this product to all friends who need wireless transmission!

These work pretty well, but if you weren't aware, they don't carry their own power source. This means that you have to ensure that there is a power source nearby. For the transmitter this could be simple, especially if you are casting from a laptop to a separate TV or monitor. In that instance you can use the laptop's own USB power output (assuming it has one, and most do) to power the transmitter. But the receiver is another matter. If the external monitor or TV does not have an accessible USB power output, you may need to improvise. Perhaps there is an a/c outlet avaialble nearby to which you can connect a power brick. Alternatively, we've used large capacity power banks to provide that juice. But don't just assume that these are self-powered. They are not.Other than that, using these is pretty straightforward. We take them on cruises so we can cast entertainment to the TV in our stateroom. That doesn't always work (some of them are fixed in position without access to HDMI or USB connections) but for those that have a TV on an articulating mount, and with an available HDMI in connection, we're good to go!

Device would not work with our older TV, despite testing it with multiple input sources including DirecTV DVR, iPad, Mac, and DVD player. Luckily I tried again with a newer TV and the device worked with all the above video sources. The video quality was excellent, however the audio exhibited a significant delay behind the video being displayed on the screen of the same device. This delay can be distracting for TV content with synchronized spoken dialog, and may hinder its usability for gaming devices.Something not mentioned in the limited instructions provided is that, when working, the Receiving unit will display IP information on the video display device (TV or monitor), even if there is a problem with the Transmitting unit or it’s source. This is a helpful piece of information to know in case you experience compatibility issues with the display device as we did.
