I've been using this paper long enough to have put it through its paces. I think it is a good value for the price. I have had no problems using tape, masking fluid, or wet washes. I cannot say the same about some other sketchbooks I have purchased, Is it the same quality as Arches or similar brand?. Of course not. I feel it is unfair to expect that in what is a budget sketchbook. I ordered the cold press, however, I think I received the hot press instead. That's not a significant problem since it is a sketchbook/journal and I use it mostly for experimenting with techniques and ideas.Since I have used up the original paper, I am really glad I can get refills. With the ability to add and rearrange sheets, I think it would make a great choice for swatching or nature journals.

Nice binder with cold press watercolor paper.The paper isn't the fanciest, but its good enough for a practicing art student.Good pockets to put in reference photos.

Beautiful sketch book! Very nice and I ordered extra paper refills.One comment tho…..If you store a pencil in the holder you can’t close the book.

Badly made, the magnet is wonky and so are the pockets inside, badly stitched and some of the tread is fraying already. Cheap nasty watercolour card too. Very disappointed Just not good enough for the price.

The magnetic strap was sewn on backwards, the magnet sits on top. The binder itself is nice enough for the price, but this is a major oversight.

This is a lovely book. It is light weight and looks very well made. Just what I’m looking for at a decent price.The paper supplied is quite thirsty, but is quite forgiving on scrubbing, lots of water, pen and ink, good for rough sketches in the field ,with all types of media. It didn’t buckle when I used lots of water, but also took quite a while to dry.The paint blends well but leaves the paint looking flat. Although a good paper to practice on.I will personally put in my own selection of watercolour papers, and other papers.

As an artist I love this journal. The design is thoughtful. I love the pockets so you can put in cards, notes and more. I added dot grid paper to the back so I can use it as a sketchbook/plein air watercolor book and bullet journal for my business. It’s something I could take to a clients. I recommend adding a plastic pocket and paint cards so you already have your colors handy.

Muy bonita, el papel parece correcto. Lo mejor de estos cuadernos de acuarelas es que cuando se acaba el papel puedes rellenar los con más hojas de papel de acuarelas o papel normal y usarlo como bloc de notas o agenda.Ha llegado en perfecto estado.
