Took about 3 weeks to get here, but once it got here it is really nice quality, heavyweight watercolor sheets, a nice cover, sturdy binding... as long as you do not need it fast, I'd recommend it.

I like the compact size with the elastic band. The paper is okay for drawing. I am working on sketching and drawing things in nature like birds, flowers, trees, etc as I learn some art techniques. This is a good size to carry along. I like the green cover too. The price is reasonable. I have another square one with a pocket on the back and I do wish this had that feature but it isn' t a deal breaker by any means.

Lovely high-quality watercolor paper!! I was really tempted to keep this little books for myself, but my middle daughter has taken a renewed interest in painting and I gufted it to her. She loves it and I can't wait to see what she creates. Very thick, lovely texture, no bad smell, worth the money. I will be buying one for myself. This will create tiny paintings that last. Love it!!!

This took forever to actually get to me, so I had moved on to other projects in the meantime. When I finally received it, I found a nice little sketchbook with 40 pages of 140lb, acid free paper, all contained in a nice, green fabric-wrapped cover. I immediately liked it, and at 4”x6” it’s a fantastic size for small sketches and taking with you virtually anywhere. There’s also a band to keep the cover closed while not in use, which will help protect the pages.I’m still getting to know it, but in my testing, it takes water well, and the paper is durable enough to allow for some lifting and adjusting. Dry brushing is also possible, but the paper is still somewhat smooth so set your expectations. Right now I think a line (or pen) and wash technique would be perfect, and I’m looking forward to trying it this spring (when it’s not 30 degrees with a strong wind chill. I wish it came in more colors, but I’m getting another one as a gift. Recommended.

I can't wait to fully dive into this sketchbook. the size is great. It's thick and chunky and the page size is great. The elastic holds the whole thing shut snuggly. The cover is hard and sturdy feeling. The fabric on the cover has a great texture and looks fantastic. It's a shame I'm going to get paint all over it.I also like that there isn't a brand name slapped all over it. it's just plain. I like that a lot.The pages look like they are securely stitched into the book.The pages are not perforated and I like this a lot. Good choice.
