The description said cotton paper and cold press. It feels, and performs like neither of those things. Paper is smooth finish with a hard, not very absorbent surface. Any reworking at all roughs up the surface into a bunch of water logged paper lint. The packaging makes no mention of being cotton or cold press. They are cheap because they are garbage. Save your money.

This is definitely NOT cotton paper. It’s more of a Bristol, suitable for pen and ink. Which works for me but may not for some. Description should really be changed.

I bought these to test them with all mediums before ordering 50 of them for a retreat.I’ve used acrylic paint pens, water color pens, normal water colors, markers, crayons, colored pencils, sketching pencils, and pastels. Nothing bled through - even with wetting the page before adding water colors. The pages didn’t wrinkle or pill.As expected the pastels transferred to the back of the prior page a little.
