Used this pencil to quilt design on white squares to hand p-quilt a baby quilt for my new grandchild. Quilt finished, I tried with eraser provided, damp cloth and finally washing 3 times - markings will still not come out! Tried using Dawn, stain stick, Spray and Wash - nothing. Did not put in dryer, dried flat. There is no customer service ( based in Australia) The quilt I worked on for months is ruined. Please don't let this happen to you 😥

Overall, I like this fabric pencil and will buy refills. It makes a very fine line which is what I wanted. It removes easily just by lightly brushing with hand or other fabric. Color shows up quite light, so is sometime difficult to see. Also means if you don’t brush it off most people won’t notice it. You can push moderately firmly on pencil without lead breaking, but lead will break if pushed too hard.

This pencil is great. I do various needlecrafts. The line is fine, and goes on easily. My only complaint is in getting green instead of black. The green is not a good contrast for lighter fabrics. Ordered black refill and the problem will be solved. It would not hurt to have several colors of leads on hand for various projects.

I quilt and sew a lot since I retired. I was getting fed up with trying to find a safe easy to use product. These are my favorite. Clear lines and easy to load. Fine enough for small areas. They are a little pricey but well worth it.

Marks really easily on quilting cottons. I use it for cutting appliques. You don't need a lot of pressure and the marks come out easily, either by rubbing it with your fingers, with a rubber eraser, or with water. The green color hasn't left any permanent stains at all. The green is visible on all colors of fabric except blues and teals. I like it so much that I'm considering getting it in white or another color for blues and teals.
