My daughter did not know how to crochet before receiving this. It taught her how to crochet in easy steps to where she can make her own now. The elephants are very cute. I definitely recommend this product.

I saw this Crochetta Elephant kit and thought how cute it looked, after reading the reviews on Amazon about this brand I decided to give it a try, and it didn’t disappoint. It came with everything I needed to make this pattern. It also came with a printed pattern booklet which was wonderful as I didn’t need to download a video for pattern, the pattern is very easy to read and follow, written a lot like the wooble patterns which is so much better for beginners learning to crochet to make these cute small versions of Amigurumi’s. This kit and pattern booklet came with two patterns so you could make a boy and a girl. I made the girl and it turned out so cute!!! The Quality of the kit and the size and price is Absolutely the Best and it’s Fun for kids too! Will be making the boy next!

I absolutely loved this product! I thought it would be difficult, but the instructions were clear, and the process was surprisingly easy to learn. It was easy so much fun working on these, and the final result was adorable. A great choice for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Highly recommend!

The yarn that comes with it is awful and makes it so much more difficult for a beginner. The videos are awful and don't explain things very well and are in broken English, which doesn't help the situation. Overall I'm really disappointed in the whole kit.

I thought these were for beginners so I was like, cool I’m not a beginner so this should be easy. WRONG. The way the pattern is written for some parts is so confusing. They just don’t even explain what you’re supposed to be doing, it just lists stitches with no direction. Sure, I could have followed the video the whole time but 1. I rarely have quiet in my house to actually hear what’s being said, 2. I found the videos really annoying to follow along with. Either they were over explaining something I didn’t need to know or they were moving too fast and I would have to pause a bunch. It was not the relaxing, fun project I thought it would be during my long surgery recovery. Some parts were fine and didn’t drive me crazy but most of it did lol it’s for sure not a beginner level project. Heck, I’m a novice and I struggled. They turned out cute, but very flawed somehow. I’m sure it’s because of the difficult readability of the patterns. The value seems to be decent. The yarn was kind of annoying to work with. It separated a lot while working with it. Or tangled during a stitch when better yarn wouldn’t have. I did love the little scissor tool that came with it but they only actually made a cut 50% of the time. I liked that it came with two hooks, since I’m known to lose things. Basically all of the little tools and accessories it came with were nice to have.It seemed like a really really cute kit, I just wish it was easier/better to use. I think if they improved the pattern and explanations, it would be a lot better. I would have been completely content with this kit if it wasn’t so difficult to understand what to do. Frustration was not what I needed after 2 spinal surgeries and awaiting a third. I was too stubborn to quit once I started but it definitely was stressful to do at times.
